Are you a dog or cat lover? Then support our cause for the Action for Animals in Latrobe – they are a non-kill shelter and live off of donations. Help us spread the word!
Action for Animals Humane Society is hosting a benefit event called “Music for a Mission” at the Latrobe Elks Lodge on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 6 pm to 9 pm. The event will feature live music from local bands Good Livin’ and The Slightly Crooked, a basket raffle, and a 50/50 drawing. Admission is a $10 donation at the door, and the Latrobe Elks will also be selling food and beverages. Proceeds will benefit the Action for Animals Humane Society.
Do you like music festivals and beer? Then come out for the JAMBREWZLE festival at the Four Seasons! Doors open at noon and you’re guaranteed to have a good time!
Cocktails and local beer? Yes, please! Check out the Rusty Musket Distillery in Latrobe PA. An Old Fashioned or Whiskey with Ginger are my preferred, but there is a plethora of cocktails available. Come out and support Latrobe’s downtown!
Prefer a romantic dinner at the Green Gables in Jennerstown? Windows next to dining tables display the beautiful flora and fauna, it’s like sitting by the creek and no mosquitos! While listening to our Appalachian Fiddle tunes and Folk songs, you can enjoy small plates or a full dinner from their menu. BYOB so you are in charge of your beverage of choice!
